since I’m always having problems with values/colours, I thought I’d devote december to life painting. this one was done in 2 hours on a single layer in SAI. I tried to make it look realistic without adding to much detail, dunno if it worked.

I completely forgot about this thing. I didn’t have the time paint the animation frames, so in the end I inserted raw animations in the game. It looks kind of sketchy and fun.
Connecting the segments of animation in Construct (the main tool I used) was a bit of a pain, and the animation is still glitchy, but that’s what you get when you don’t know crap about programming. If I ever think about making a full game, I’ll probably have to team up with a couple of people.
You can download the thing here - walk about a bit, see the scenery and talk to the birds, for all it’s worth.
Ah, controls are left and right arrow + mouse. I think it’s rather obvious, but maybe not.

I don’t really get it, but ok!
Based on Da Vinci’s “The Lady with an Ermine”. I know she’s not supposed to have eyes or a nose, but it’s not like I’m getting paid for this, so…
*scribbledy-scrub* OH, look, my “style” shifted again! And by no less than 180° degrees at that! Well, I’m just a beginner at art after all, so that’s what you get.
If the previous “style”(pff!) can be attributed to a lasting Huliia’s influence on my art, this one is definitely all Ataboh’s fault. I wonder when I’ll be able to come up with something of my own at last?ヽ(。_°)ノ
